Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

• Email address — collected at sign-up and used only for authentication (one-time sign-in codes).
• Display name — optional, set by you in the app.
• Conversation content — the match threads and messages you paste or type into the app.
• Usage data — AI token counts and cost per session, used for billing and abuse prevention. No message content is stored in usage logs.
• Payment data — we record whether a payment was made and its status. Card details are never stored on our servers; they are handled entirely by Razorpay.

2. How we use it

• To authenticate you via one-time email codes.
• To generate AI reply suggestions using the conversation content you provide.
• To operate billing and enforce subscription access.
• We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it to train AI models.

3. Third-party services

• OpenAI — conversation content you enter is sent to OpenAI's API to generate suggestions. OpenAI's API data usage policy applies.
• Resend — used to deliver sign-in codes by email.
• Razorpay — handles payment processing. Card data never touches our servers.

4. Data storage & security

Data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure. We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all data in transit. Session tokens are cryptographically signed. We do not store passwords.

5. Data retention & deletion

You can delete any match thread at any time from within the app. To delete your account and all associated data, email us at support@tryvolley.chat and we will process the request within 7 days.

6. Children

Volley is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy occasionally. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated by email.
